The National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA), a distinguished chartered Institute, is proud to present the National Credit Managers Conference 2024, themed “Credit Grows Green Economy.” This landmark event, scheduled to be held in Lagos, Nigeria from October 22nd to 24th, 2024, is set to be a transformative gathering that will bring together all critical stakeholders in the credit management profession and industry to address the crucial role of credit in fostering a sustainable and resilient economy.

The National Credit Managers Conference will feature distinguished lineups of speakers, starting with Amb. Chris J. Maiyaki, the Ag. Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), who has confirmed his participation and will deliver the keynote address. Other expected Special Guest Speakers are:

► Engineer Uzoma Nwagba, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP), who will speak on “The Role of Consumer Credit in Economic Development: The Relevance, Progress, and Future;”

► Hussaini Ishaq Magaji, SAN, the Registrar General of the Corporate Affairs Commission is expected to discuss “How Business Information at CAC Supports Effective Credit Management in the Economy;”

► Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN, the President-Elect of the Nigerian Bar Association will explore “An Examination of Issues that Undermine Debt Recovery through Litigation in Nigeria and Solutions to the Various Obstacles;” and

► Olufemi Muraino, FICA, Executive Director (Business Transformation & Innovation Unit) Inlaks, to address “How Credit Propels Economic Growth.”

Their anticipated contributions will enrich the conference and provide valuable insights into key areas of credit administration.
